Draw a parallelogram ABCD and the height DH relative to AB. Consider a point P on DH and show that the triangles APB and HPC are equivalent.
( Hint: Remember the theorem of equivalence between triangles and show that the two triangles are equivalent to the same rectangle )
Please help me i don't know where to start, I'm stuck.
Thank you.

Please explain what does that mean?
What does equivalence of a triangle and a rectangle mean?

Your teacher simply handed out this problem
and gave no indication how/where to start ?

We are studying the equivalences so he gave us some problems but I'm stuck on this one even if I know the rules.Could you help me?

Equivalence between a triangle and a rectangle:

and with with an height wich is half the height of the triangle.
