[SIZE =2] Question: Prove that mc2 = 3.n+1c4 , where m = nc2

Okay, so I'm guessing the problem text was as follows.

Prove that \(\displaystyle \displaystyle \binom{m}{2} = 3 \cdot \binom{n+1}{4}\) where \(\displaystyle \displaystyle m=\binom{n}{2}\)

If this is not right, please reply with any necessary corrections. As a follow-up query, what has your class covered in terms of the binomial coefficient? Do you know it's definition? You may want to browse this page from MathWords to get a refresher. In any case, when you reply back, please re-read and comply with the rules as outlined in the Read Before Posting thread that's stickied at the top of every sub-forum, and include any and all work you've done on this problem, even including the parts you know for sure are wrong. Thank you.
