Help needed - Sales Projection Equation

Hey guys,

I've been given an equation that will forecast sales and i need to work out the sales for each week. The formula is below, do i multiply 1.8 by the number or to the power of the number? i.e. if t = 3 would i do 1.8 x 3 or 1.8 to the power of 3?

Sales = 90 x (1.8)^t (t is little)

t = the week number

Yes, the "^t" means "take the t power of 1.8". If t= 3 that would be 90 time 1.8 to the third power: 90*1.8*1.8*1.8.

t = the week number
