Stuck on a problem for hours now. I know this is silly but I am following a guide from my professor and either they did the work wrong or I did! What is 60=-68+6
and what is 60=(-28)+b ? this would be a huge help!

If that is what they wrote, then they are wrong.

Adding the numbers -68 and 6 yields -62, not 60.

60 = -28 + b

This equation can be solved, to find the value of b. Add 28 to each side. :cool:

Next time, please also provide the entire text of the exercise. The more context we know, the better help we provide. If we only see one or two steps at a time, we might miss something.
