Hi, im new to math and in my physics book, the answer of a question goes as: 30 times 9.81 times Sine A = 91 N
and it says: By using inverse Sine , you find that A = 18 degrees.
But anything i try shows up as error.
What am i supposed to put?
I hope someone can help me.
Thank you kindly.

edit: i figured it out. thank you.

Put where - calculator? spreadsheet?

What did you put - exactly?

what do i have to put in my calculator to get A= 18 degrees?
30 timee 9.81 times Sine A = 91 N.
by using inverse Sine, the answer of A = 18 degreee.
What did they enter on their calculator?
I hope this clears it up.

I see you've found the answer you were after, and that's great. :) But for the benefit of any future students who might stumble upon this thread, having the same problem, can you please describe the error you made and the solution thereto?

30 timee 9.81 times Sine A = 91

A = 18 degreee.

What did they enter on their calculator?
30 * 9.81 * sin(A) = 91

You first need to solve this equation for sin(A).

Once you have a value for sin(A), you input that number into your calculator's inverse sine function. Make sure your calculator is set to degree mode.

If you need more help with this, please show your work solving the equation above for sin(A), and tell us the make and model of the calculator you're using.
