ie 1234.56 x 10 to the power of 4

Would you know the answer to the following:

1234.56 x 10
= ?

The above is same as:

1234.56 x 10 to the power of 1
 
If you're still stuck, use a calculator to multiply 1.234 by 10. Write down the result.

Then, multiply by ten again. Write down the result.

Then, multiply by ten again. Write down the result.

Then, multiply by ten again. Write down the result.

There's a pattern, in the results. What do you see happening? :cool:
