Hello and thanks for your help!
I have two questions that I need help to start. If you point me in the right direction that would be wonderful.
Okay, so first one:
If X ~ N(8, 1.5) find:
a) P(X<11)
b) P(8<X<10)
My guess is to multiple 1.5 by the numbers below 11 (for a) and then add the values, and between 8 and 10 (for b).
Second one:
The digestion rate of people was studied and normal meals were found to have a mean digestion time of 9.4 hrs with a standard deviation of 2.1 hrs. What proportion of people can be expected to digest a normal meal in 8 hours or less?
I have no idea with this one...
Anyway, any and all help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
