length of segment in parallelogram: BC = 4 cm , CD = 9 cm then what is AP ?

At first, one might think there is not enough information, since we don't know any angles. The suggestion that you suppose the parallelogram is a rectangle will give you a simple answer, but you will want to be sure it does not depend on the assumption. To do so, you might think about the angles in triangle DAP.
