    non homogeneous general solution to d^2x/dt^2 + 2dx/dt-3x=5e^-t+sin3t

    Could anyone check my work:

    Question is, find the general soultion of the following DE

    d^2x/dt^2 + 2dx/dt-3x=5e^-t+sin3t

    The answer i got was =

    Ae^t + Be^-3t - 5/4e^-t -1/10sin 3t

    In order for anyone to check your work, you will have to show some work. Just dropping your final answer doesn't help anyone.

    What methods did you use? What difficulties did you encounter?

    I didn't check your arithmetic, but generally, this is a thing of beauty! Very neat. Very easy to follow. Just check your arithmetic when you substituted at the bottom of the first page. If you believe it, you're done - and VERY nicely.
