From another piece of scratch paper:

Each string of letters below come from a two-word phrase wherein both words began with the same letter (eg: EVIL EYE, MASS MEDIA). Those first letters have been removed. The word space has been removed. What are the original, two-word phrases?

1. MINOCID

2. UXURYINER

3. OGEAVEN

4. HONELUG

5. AILERGE

6. UMBOET

7. ORCEIELD

8. AFFINAY

As this is an easy "Monday" puzzle, I've added a few more. However, I've reversed the word order:

9. AWEE

10. LOSEDASE

11. EARRY

12. TRONGTAY

13. WICEHINK

?

Lookin' good, Romsek.

I've never heard of #8, but it seems to be the only thing that works. (I'm wondering if there's a typo in the clue.)

My answer for #9 is different.
