    Please explain why I got marks taken off in this limit question

    My teacher said that I need to solve all the limits at once, but I do not understand why and so can someone please explain this rule. The test can be found here:

    Personally, I would have taken points off for notation and spelling.

    It's "indeterminate".

    {your limit} = 0/0 is just terrible. Never say that.

    Is it ALWAYS true that lim [f(x)*g(x)] = lim(f(x)) * lim(g(x))?
