    I can defend both. It's not the answer I'm worried about, it's the confusion of the student. If the student is not confused by it, I have no problem with the method.

    Signature #2: Do it the way that works and makes sense to you.

    This applies to the whole of the population. There can be many variations.

    I also reserve the right to personal bias and experiential pedagogy.
