I'm not sure if this is algebra or trig but I need this formula rearranged so that it solves for the angle A1.
It's what to do with the tangent that baffles me.

(tan(A1)x.79+(tan(1.97A1)x.66+(tan(3.3A1)x.55=(D3-D0)/L

You have unequal numbers of left parentheses ( - and right parentheses ).

Does it look like (* indicate multiplication):

[tan(A1) * 0.79] + [tan(1.97*A1) * 0.66] + [tan(3.3*A1) * 0.55] = (D3-D0)/L
