New to vector cross product, so just wanted to verify I have solved this problem correctly.

Question:

Use the cross product to find the normal form of the eqn on the plane passing through P=(1,0,-2) parallel to u= [0,1,1] and v= [3,-1,2]

I've attached an image with my working.

Cheers!

Looks good to me.

If you need reassurance, you can check that P satisfies the equation, and that the normal is in fact perpendicular to each of u and v.
