Can someone show me how to solve this equation?
S = Sum of K*p(x=k)
Where K starts and 1 and approaches infinity
And p(x=k) = (1-pi/4)^(k-1)*pi/4
picture of the problem here
The instructor gave the answer 4/pi but I cannot seem to reproduce the answer.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!
