Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone could help me derive a formula to show a weighted probability (sort of random) for something.
For example, if a machine will produce a sweet maximum 1 in 10 times, how would I construct an equation so that it isn't ALWAYS 1 in 10 times. In other words, I'm trying to stop the scenario where one person could simply wait and watch for sweets to be dispensed and then be sure they are the 10th person and "lucky" recipient of the 10th sweet.
Sort of like a slot machine.
Many thanks I'm advance!
