Can anyone help me solve a problem regarding trajectories? My problem is:

Given a 3-dimensional rectangular solid sitting on the earth (GPS coordinates, including altitude determine the extents of the solid),
and also given a separate, small object moving at a known velocity in a straight line (also determined with GPS coordinates), is there a way to determine if and when the object will enter the rectangular solid?
