One of the first thing you should have learned in Calculus is that the derivative of "x^n", with respect to x, is nx^(n-1). Not long after you learned that you should have learned that the derivative of e^x, with respect to x, is e^x, and the chain rule.

Putting those together, for example, the derivative of \(\displaystyle -e^{-\theta W}\), with respect to W, is \(\displaystyle -e^{-\theta W}\) times the derivative of \(\displaystyle -\theta W\) so \(\displaystyle \theta e^{-\theta W}\).
