Hello I've been having a bit of trouble with the following problem but can't figure out how they got the first line of the solution. What happens to the - 6?
Any help would be very much appreciated.

If g(x) = –6x + 5 and h(x) = –9x – 11, find

How did they get this first line of the solution?

= – ( –9x – 11) + 5

That solution is incorrect.
It should have said:

= -6 * (–9x – 11) - 5 ........ The (-6 ) is missing from the "alleged solution

Please make sure that you copied the problem and the "alleged" solution correctly!
