Find Angle Of X
After rotation and lightening, this is the image that I'm seeing:

Did you perhaps mean "Find [the measure of the] Angle [a]"? Have you perhaps recently been studying parallel lines and transversals?

If so, try drawing another parallel line, this one passing through the point C. Then see what you can do with alternate angles, starting with the angle CDE with measure 143 degrees. Doing the appropriate subtraction and then comparison (again, by alternate angles) to find the measure of the angle "a".

If not, please reply with corrections and clarification. Either way, please include a clear listing of your thoughts and efforts so far. Thank you! ;)

It is year ten geography. I am completely stumped I believe if I extended parallel line BA I might be able to find the outside angles.

Did you try following the suggested steps? If so, what did you get? If not, what else are you doing?

Please be complete, so we can "see" where you're getting stuck. Thank you! ;)
