Geometric Crypt?

soLids without Length = soids ....so: cissoids
Hmmm, not sure I follow, Denis.

This part is correct:

solids without length = soids

But seems like you're using:

New shapes = direct (correct)

divide = cis (?)

into = concatenation indicator (nope)

Perhaps, I misunderstand. Yet, cissoids is not my answer. (Hint: cissoids are not new geometric shapes; they've been known for awhile.) :cool:

Ahhhh ok: "divide" = "cut"
sCUToids
That's so "new" that it's not in dictionary.com:
"No results found for scutoid"

Nice crypt.

Nice crypt.
Thank you. From what I understand, an international group of scientists assisted the discovery in Spain and helped to confirm it several weeks ago. The public announcement was last week.

Interesting. We may be revising several previously-assigned shapes to things, in the years to come. :cool:

PS: From what I saw in the media, scientists speaking
mostly prounounced scutoid like this (bold accents):

S (cue-toid)

A few said skuh-toid.
