Math even underlies art

Okay I should have stopped at the headline.
Why is that? You asked who thinks math is not an art, and someone at a math site suggested nobody does (meaning, I suppose, nobody who actually thinks about math would claim that it's not an art form). Seems like a reasonable response.

Thanks for sharing the neat video; I have forwarded the link to my daughter.

My daughter is an artist; here's two links I sent her last week. (When she moves back to the Pacific NW later this year, we're going to set up a paint pendulum in my sister's garage!)

I don't know from where artists get their patience, so I admire people who possess enough discipline to stick with a project to the very end.

My daughter follows many artists on Instagram. She shared images of work by a wonderful Iranian artist Hamid Naderi Yeganeh; he uses hundreds of iterations of trigonometric functions, to plot computer art. I found two of his pieces at Wikipedia.

Here's one of my daughter's pieces. (She's into geometric patterns and street art; she likes using reclaimed materials.)
