They want the answer as something like 52 1/6%, for example. (That isn't the answer.) It will be a mixed-number percentage.

Give it a try and show us your work, so we can see if you are on the right track.

If you prefer, first convert the whole number 2 to a percent, and then convert 3/8 to a percent, for practice. It will be a little trickier to handle 3/7, and I'll want to see what methods you have been taught in order to help.

But I will suggest my own preferred way: just think of it as multiplying by 100%, which is a way to write 1. That is, multiply your number by 100, simplify as a mixed number, and write a % after it.

3 5/6 * 100% = 23/6 * 100% = 2300/6 % = 1150/3 % = 383 1/3 %
