My son is a young math genius and I am not mathematically inclined whatsoever. Could anyone help me to help him solve this math problem?

√((x*3*(1/3)!+1)=x*1.25

I am at a loss.

I imagine he wrote this "problem" himself, since you wouldn't find it in any valid source. He may just need to learn that not all equations you can write can be solved, no matter how smart you are.

You'll have to ask him what he means by "(1/3)!", which is not actually defined. If it meant something, then you would solve the equation by squaring both sides, resulting in a quadratic equation.
