I am extremely frustrated because i am very, very confused on these problems and do not know where to start solving them. Can't read those attachments. You'll have to take another crack at it.

Hi all,

I asked my teacher for help on this problem and received virtually no help. I am extremely frustrated because i am very, very confused on these problems and do not know where to start solving them. Any help would be appreciated, as this test is very important and I'm sure I've done well on the rest of it. I don't want these couple of questions to tank my grade.

Thank you very much in advance!

These appear to be your problems:

For the first, the fact that two triangles are congruent means that corresponding sides are congruent. In particular, since you are asked about b, note that UV = EF. Write that as an equation and solve.

For the second, do you notice that the triangle is isosceles? What do you know about the angles of an isosceles triangle?

For the third, do you see a pair of congruent triangles? Corresponding angles of these are equal, so you can again write an equation.

If you need more help than this, you will need to show us what you DO know, so we can have an idea where to start. Please read this.

Also, please tell us what you mean by calling this a test, but asking for help on it.
