Hi I struggle with equation ((1+sin(2x)+cos(2x)) / (1+sin(2x)-cos(2x))) =Cot(x) tried lots of different identities for 2 houres and have no progres I had some more simple one explained on lecture and understand basic way of do it, but have no luck will be apreciated any clues. Thanks.

cos(2x) = 2cos^2x - 1
sin(2x) = 2*sin(x) * cos(x)

Thanks. I tried this and simplified main equation slightly but after 2 hours substituting given up.

=2cos(x)*(sin(x)+cos(x)) / 2sin(x)*(cos(x)+sin(x)) => cos(x)/sin(x)=cot(x)
