Trigonometric Identities help

attachment.php

In your previous two posts - you did not respond back after tutors provided the solution!!

Did those responses help you?

In this problem:

Hint-

1) Start with left-hand-side(LHS)

2) Use cos^2(x) = 1 - sin^2(x)

3) Factorize

4) Continue and tell us what you got!

When I factorize it I still cant cancel out the denominator because the 1 is negative, so I I’m not sure what to do. :/
