Question is how to find a expression for the volume of the box in terms of x alone given the information below. For a rectangular box.

Are we supposed to assume that the surface area will always be the same? What is meant by "base, x"? What is the FULL TEXT of the exercise? (We can't see your book. As mentioned in previous threads, you need to tell us what they've given you to work with.)
