applications of integrals

Find the length of the curve
x=2t y=(2/3)t^(3/2) from 0-21

I took the derivative of each one and got x=2 and y=t^1/2 then i squared both and added 1 + each and then the square root is needed to be taken but I can't find a square to give me a square root.
 
What?

I think you need to evaluate the integral. That might be a bit of a trick. How are your numerical methods?
