hello. I need help to simplify tan(sin^(-1))x and help prove that cos(sin^(-1))x = square root of (1-x^2). Thanks.
 
Your formatting is unclear. Do you mean the following?

. . . . .1) Simplify tan(sin<sup>-1</sup>(x)).

. . . . .2) Show that cos(sin<sup>-1</sup>(x)) = 1 - x<sup>2</sup>.

If so, then draw a right triangle, note that "x" is the same as "x/1", label the triangle according to the trig function you've been given, use the Pythagorean Theorem to find the expression for the third side, and then read off the value of the answer.
