Two things
If you change your mind about a post there is a box with an X in it at the top. Click that and you can delete it.
No one told you about clicking twice on the box with the C(ode) button? You type between the boxes and I think you will get what you are trying for.

It is just to the right of where it says POST SUBJECT in line with your name.
There are four buttons.
