I was hoping you could help me with these:

1.Find the exact volume and the exact lateral area of the solid formed when the region bounded by Quadrant I bye the lines x = 9, and y = 5 is revolved around the x-axis.

2. A CIRCLE HAS ITS CENTER AT THE POINT (-2,3). iF ONE ENDPOINT OF THE DIAMETER IS AT (3,-5), FIND THE OTHER ENDPOINT.

3. THERE ARE TWO POINTS ON THE X-AXIS AT A DISTANCE OF SIX UNITS FROM THE POINT (3,1). DETERMINE THE COORDINATES OF EACH POINT.

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I AM DOING SO THIS WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED! THANKS :lol:

The solid formed when the region bounded by Quadrant I by the lines x = 9, and y = 5 is revolved around the x-axis.
This is just a cylinder of radius 5 and height 9.

im sorry i dont understand. what about the two other questions? please help!

1) If you are in analytic geometry and don't know the formulas from solid geometry for cylinders you really have problems.
v = bh = pi*r²*h
a = 2*pi*r*h

2) Look at what two numbers you add to -2 and 3 to get 3 and -5. Subtract them from -2 and 3

3) You have two right triangles with height 1 and hypot 6.
v = sqrt(6²-1²)
The points are (3+v,0) and (3-v,0)

4) IT IS IMPOLITE TO TYPE IN CAPS.
