<A and <B are complementary. Find m<A and m<B.

m<A= 5x+8
m<B= x+4

Hint: What is the definition of "complementary" angles?

Eliz.

The measure of the total angles will equal 90 degrees, so solve this:

\(\displaystyle \L 5x\,+\,8\,+\,x\,+\,4\,=\,90\)

When you get \(\displaystyle x\) fill out back in your equation for the measure of the angles.
