what is a three digit whole number that is divisble by 4,7,8, and 9? and it is not divisible by 5 or 27.?
 
To be divisible by a number means to have that number as a factor. So you need factors of 7 and 8 and 9. Since 8 already contains a factor of 4, you don't need the 4.
7x8x9=504 which cannot be divisible by 5 or by 27.
