need help with pascal's triangle and binomial distribution

hi. im in grade 12 and i am taken a data management class. i have a math test on monday and in confused about the binomial distribution... it also has something to do with pascal's triangle. :?
if anyone understands that and how to do it could u please help.

pascal triangle has the binomial coefficients as it's entries. Further, the sum on the r'th row is 2^r.
