If you had a million drops of water, would you be more likely to:

a) drink it?
b) take a bath in in?
c) swim in it?

To answer this question, use the following conversion chart:
4 C = 1 qt.
1 Tbs. = 3 tsp
16 Tbs = 1 C.
1 gal = 4 qt.
60 drops = 1 tsp

So use the conversion factors they gave you:

In a million "drops", how many teaspoons do you have?

In that number of teaspoons, how many tablespoons do you have?

In that number of tablespoons, how many cups do you have?

In that number of cups, how many quarts do you have?

In that number of quarts, how many gallons do you have?

At what point in the above did you reach a smallish number? At that point, what use would probably be most sensible? (For instance, twenty gallons would be suicidal to drink, and one quart would be silly to try to bathe in.)

If you get stuck, please reply showing all of your work and reasoning. Thank you.

Eliz.
