Carry out the addition and simplify.

(x+2) / (x^3-1) + (x+1) / (x^2+x+1)

Seems easy. I know you have to find the common denominator first but I keep running into trouble. Can you even factor anything out in the begining?! Please assist. Thanks.[/b]

Remember this from lectures/notes/textbook/internet/life/etc.?

\(\displaystyle \L x^3 -1 = (x-1)(x^2+x+1)\)

You know what to do next... Find the common denominator and do the addition.
