Precalc: Solving square root of function

hi, well first off i'm not sure how to make square root signs... so i'll just write "sqrt of" sorry.

Solve algebraically:

sqrt of 2x-5 = 1 + sqrt of x-3

please try to help

Post like this: sqrt(2x - 5) = 1 + sqrt(x - 3)

What do you get if you square both sides?
If you can't do that, you need classroom help.
