I have 5 of these problems in the homework and am having trouble setting them up.

A Manufacterur sells a product at $8.35 per unit, selling all produced. The fixed cost is $2116 and the variable cost is $7.20 per unit. At what level of production will there be a profit of $4600? At what level of production will there be a loss of $1150? At what level of production will the break even point occur?

let x = number of units produced

production cost as a function of x is C(x) = 2116 + 7.20x

revenue as a function of x is R(x) = 8.35x

so, isn't profit as a function of x ...

P(x) = R(x) - C(x) ???

can you finish?
