the path C3 U C4 consisting of the line segment from (0,0,0) tp (1,1,0) followed by the segment from (1,1,0) to (1,1,1)

so the answer i got is 0

the correct answer is 1/2

Are you sure this is correct?. Maybe it should be 3yj?.
