:mrgreen: I AM NOT UNDERSTANDING HOW TO SOLVE DERIVATIVES USING EXPONENTIAL AND LOGARITHIMIC FUNCTIONS? CAN YOU PLEASE GIVE ME SOME EXAMPLES OR SHOULD I JUST POST A PROBLEMA ANDWAIT FOR THE ANSWER? ESPECIALLY USING e

post a specific problem (in its entirety, including any and all instructions), and be sure to include whatever work you have accomplished toward its resolution.

fyi ... posting in ALL CAPS is interpreted as "shouting" and is considered to be rude.

I apologize for using the caps I dont mean to be shouting and/or rude.

Differentiate

f(x)=1/9e^9x also

y=4ex^2

I'm assuming your first problem is \(\displaystyle \L f(x) = \frac{1}{9} e^{9x}\)

if \(\displaystyle \L f(x) = ke^u\), where u is a function of x and k is a constant, then ...

\(\displaystyle \L f'(x) = ke^u \cdot \frac{du}{dx}\)

for your second problem ...

if \(\displaystyle \L y = 4e \cdot x^2\), the 4e is just a constant ...

what would be the derivative of \(\displaystyle \L y = kx^2\) ?
