I need help on my math homework, actually. What is the answer to this pattern and why?

and also....

What is the next letter in this sequence and why?

Banana....Strawberry...Asparagus...Eggplant...Orange

Answers to this problem could be anything - for example_

fried, seared, sheesh-kebbabed, marinated, raw... (ways to prepare meat)

or

friday, sunday, saturday, monday, sunday, tuesday ...(skip one-day then come-back - then skip again --etc.)

and also....

I wish educators wouldn't hand out these word puzzles in math class. They aren't math problems, and they only confuse students. Sometimes, it's almost like they're trying to play a prank on their students....

For the first one, think "days of the week". For the second one, the items aren't "letters", so the instructions make no sense. For the third one, remember to watch the other thread(s) you've started on this. :wink:
