Find the general solution of the following equation

y''-2y'+y = 6e^x

Yh= Ae^x + Bxe^x

In the solutions, it says Yp= a x^2 e^(x^2)
why isn't it ax^2 e^x ?

thanks

Try out both the Yp (one by one) into your ODE and find out which one is correct (Books can have misprints).
