Atelephone company charges 4.95/ mo for long distance. Charges 0.05/ min. c=0.05m+4.95.
1)find the y intercept of the graph of the equation
2)graph the equation

I know the y intercept is 4.95 because you will pay 4.95 no matter what. But I dont understand how to graph it because I cant figure out an equation. Please explain this to me. If you need more info just tell me please.

ok. I now have it graphed but I dont know if it is right. I have the line as: (0,4.95), (40,6.95), (80,9.95), (120,10.95), (160,12.95)
Im not sure if this is right though. Help?

thanks for that but i still dont understand. i mean am used to it.

That was fast getting-used-to-it.

What is it that you are missing - the equation was given to you.

right. but it says to graph the equation and I didn't know how to do that. I figured it out though I think, but Im not sure its right though.
