I have been given a question using the triple product rule, but am having a problem proving the statement. The question is:
Deduce that,
[a x b,b x c,c x a] = ([a,b,c])^2
I have expanded the LHS of the equation, and have got as far as (a x b).([a,b,c].c) (if this is correct!)
(Also getting (b x c)x(c x a)= [a,b,c].c)
Just wondering where to go from here!
Thanks
