Order of Operation

400 div 5 w/exp of 2 - 4(2+1)

Order of Op tells me to work anything in parentheses first, which I did
Then I proceeded to work the 4(2)
which I get, 12

400 div 10 - 12??

What am I missing here?

The answer Is 4 but I am not working the problem right I think. :lol:
