2.The number of green beads varied inversely as the square of the number of yellow beads. When there were 8 greens there were 5 yellows. How many greens would there be if there were 10 yellows?

4. Melinda walked to the mall at 4miles per hour and then rode back home on the bus at 24miles per hour. If her total traveling time was 14hours, how far was it to the mall?

6. Victoria and Margaret are 625 miles apart and traveling straight towards each other. If Victoria's speed is 55mph and Margaret's speed is 70mph, how many hours will it be until the two meet?

7. Mike, a Salvation Army bell ringer, has 5 fewer quarters than nickles in his cup. If Mike has $5.95 in quarters and nickles, how many nickles does he have?

8. Find the slope of the graph of the equation y=5x-10

9. Find the x and y intercepts of the graph of the equation y=5x-10

If we do these problems - you'll claim to have passed the course - without doing any work. Is that fair to other students - who really can do these problems?
