I have an on-line tutoring program but we're only allowed to use it 12 times and i max out. i have no one to help me except anyone on this site that's willing and able with patients.

Hi hopen2improv,

I'm having a little trouble interpreting some of your exercises. Use grouping symbols to delimit your operations.
 
Do you understand that:

20 / 5 * 2 = 4 * 2 = 8
20 / (5 * 2) = 20 / 10 = 2

That's what "grouping means".

Like, there is a huge difference between 3/x+2 and 3/(x+2)
