I am stumpe n this prolem too...can any one walk me through it so I uderstand it?

Public buildings regularly include steps with 7-in. risers and 11-in. treads. Find the grade (slope) of such a stairway.
Show your work not just the final answer.

Maybe I am misunderstanding something, but there doesn't appear to be much work to this problem.

Slope (grade) is rise/run. The stairs rise 7 for every 11 they are horizontal. Thus, the slope is 7/11

That's it.

You cannot reference image files stored on your hard drive because the hard drive in your computer is not connected to the Internet.
