Need help with the following:

Find the exact expression of sin-1(-(√3)/2)...

???? help???


What about cos-1 (-(√3)/2)

If by expression, you meant "numerical value of"

then

use unit circle and look at most common values of sines and cosines.

Please show your work, indicating exactly where you are stuck - so that we may know where to begin to help you.

I don't really know where to start. I thought I was doing it right and that the answer would be -pi/3. But that answer is incorrect.
 
I submitted that response and it was wrong also. I believe it may have the wrong answer as the correct one.
The correct answer is \(\displaystyle \dfrac{-\pi}{3}\).
So the program must be wrong.
